Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do you ensure the expert doesn't run away with my task and money?

Payment is only released to the expert after the student clicks "Approve Payment" and is satisfied with the work. Until then, the money is held securely.

What happens if I (as a student) am not satisfied with the work?

You can chat with the expert for corrections. If still unsatisfied, you can cancel the task and your payment remains secure.

How is the pre-payment held securely? Is it refundable?

The payment is securely held via Paystack and is fully refundable if the task is canceled or there are issues.

Can experts trust that they'll be paid after completing the task?

Yes. Payment is only released after the student approves the work. If a student refuses unfairly, admins can step in to resolve it.

Are there measures to detect plagiarism or poor-quality work?

Currently, there are no built-in plagiarism checks, but experts are expected to provide original work. (We plan to add tools in the future.)

What's the difference between a student and an expert account? Can I switch roles?

A student posts tasks; an expert does the work. You can have both accounts if you want.

Can I be both a student and an expert at different times?

Yes, you can use both roles.

How do experts get notified when new tasks are posted?

Experts see new tasks on their dashboard and get notified by a bell icon.
