How do you ensure the expert doesn't run away with my task and money?
Payment is only released to the expert after the student clicks "Complete & Rate" and is satisfied with the work. Until then, the money is held securely in escrow via Paystack.
What happens if I (as a student) am not satisfied with the work?
You can chat with the expert to request corrections or improvements. If you're still unsatisfied, you can cancel the task and your payment remains secure. Our support team is also available to help resolve disputes.
How is the pre-payment held securely? Is it refundable?
The payment is securely held in escrow via Paystack, a trusted payment processor. It is fully refundable if the task is canceled before completion or if there are unresolved issues.
Can experts trust that they'll be paid after completing the task?
Yes! Payment is only released after the student approves the work. The funds are held in escrow throughout the task. If a student refuses payment unfairly, our admin team can step in to resolve the dispute and release payment to the expert.
Are there measures to detect plagiarism or poor-quality work?
Currently, we don't have built-in plagiarism detection, but experts are expected to provide original, high-quality work. We have a rating system to help maintain quality standards, and we're planning to add plagiarism detection tools in the future.

User Roles & Functionality

What's the difference between a student and an expert account? Can I switch roles?
A student account allows you to post tasks and hire experts to complete them. An expert account allows you to browse available tasks and earn money by completing them. Yes, you can switch between roles anytime using the "Switch Role" button in your dashboard!
Can I be both a student and an expert at different times?
Absolutely! You can switch between student and expert modes as needed. This flexibility allows you to post tasks when you need help and complete tasks for others when you want to earn money.
How do experts get notified when new tasks are posted?
Experts can see new tasks on their dashboard and browse available tasks on the task list page. You'll also receive notifications via the bell icon in the navigation bar when new tasks matching your expertise are posted.
